Fantastic food! Great service! Enjoy! We enjoyed the patio seating and the small touches such as the cucumber water!

“Truly exceptional food!”

We ate here for the first time today, and could not believe this place was not rated even higher on this site! The food was excellent! No microwaves or fast means to make the food are used, so it takes slightly longer than other restaurants, but the wait is well worth it! The food tastes amazing, and the ingredients are so well thought out and expertly combined. We will definitely be back!

“An underrated gem!”

We returned to the Cannon Beach Cafe this year and we were happy to see that the service now matches the level of the food. The seafood was the highlight on this menu as we certainly enjoyed the fresh clams and crab cakes. If you are interested in comfort food, their french onion soup was a highlight and the menu is filled with many other creative takes on French classics. With our 4 year old son along, we love the option of grilled fish on the kids menu for him with celeriac mash, a healthy and delicious option for him. We will look forward to returning again!

“Perfect place for a meal or a snack while enjoying Cama Beach.”

I have been here many times. It's a busy place in the summer so allow yourself time if you plan to go for lunch. The balcony fills up very fast...the view of the ocean is spectacular. All the baked goods are made there, there are gluten free options and yummy scones and muffins. The staff is friendly and it is clear they love serving others good food. Enjoying good food with friends is the best and we have done so many times. Most recently we stopped for drinks while we were hiking. I highly recommend the coconut tea. They also make the best soups. Such a treat. This venue is an ideal place for wedding receptions and all celebrations. We walked on the beach below the cafe sipping our yummy drinks enjoying island life to the fullest.

“Great French country cooking in the middle of Cannon Beach”

We ate here for dinner on our first night and lunch the next day. We were not disappointed by either meal. From the beef bourguignon to the chicken breast sandwich everything was first rate including the service. The desserts looked great but we were so full by the end of the meals, we could not order dessert.

“A Little Gem”

Lunch was a more important event today since the weather was typical for a March day at the ocean and walking the beach in the rain didn't sound like much fun. We were looking for soup and sandwiches. Comfort type food. The Cannon Beach Cafe was recommended by a 'local' who obviously knew what she was talking about! This little cafe attached to the Cannon Beach Hotel on Hemlock in midtown is warm and charming. Someone pays attention to detail here, it's well looked after and spotless. Lots of black and white with Parisian style Cafe tables. The food was VERY good. More attention to detail... with the quality and seasoning. The clam chowder was excellent. We had the French Dip and a Brie chicken sandwich that had fresh strawberries on it. The sweet potato salad was also delicious. Maybe we'll make lunch the highlight of the day tomorrow too and go back!

“Parisian Style and a Chef to Match!”

We found the Cannon Beach Cafe just tootling around looking for a place for dinner. The owner kindly let us in at the last minute -- the cafe is part of the beautiful little Cannon Beach Hotel -- and we were floored by Chef Fernando Aquino's powerful talent. He is a true artist. I ordered fresh wild salmon with the season's first asparagus and it arrived done to perfection atop a little cloud of the subtlest, most divine risotto ever. EVER! I've made risotto at home and what Chef Aquino did with this Italian staple is...impossible! He is a wizard and I hope the Cannon Beach Cafe realizes how lucky they are to have him. We'll be back...ASAP. And I will dream of Chef Aquino's risotto for the rest of my life. It is that good.

“Delicious!”

The Food is delicious, a Parisian delight. Mimosas included! They also have a granola cereal made right there in Oregon you will want to buy extra bags to bring home!

“Best vegetarian options in town”

Delicious, fresh food with friendly staff and a lovely French setting. We were looking for vegetarian options, and they have clearly labeled dishes on the menu (vegetarian, vegan). Excellent! Good value for money, too. Don't miss the brownies!

“Amazing service! ”

My husband and I are staying at the Courtyard and breakfast at this restaurant was included for guests staying at this hotel, as well as the cannon beach hotel. The food itself exceeded my expectations, and we were given mimosas which is always a nice way to start the day. But the main reason for the 5 star review is the service. Seid was incredible! So kind and polite and there for everything we needed. He made the experience even better than it already was. I hope he will be there again tomorrow. I was glad to see that they had a tip jar there because there was no way I could leave without tipping. Now we can start our day in cannon beach. =)

“Best meal of our trip!”

We happened by this restaurant and although it was a bit early for lunch we decided to stay and eat. We were so glad we did! It was amazing. The best meal we had all week between Seattle and Cannon Beach! Amazing bread, amazing sandwiches.. and they even had gluten-free homemade bread!! Our family was in heaven. The staff was very friendly and the service was good.

We decided to come here again for dinner and it was amazing! We recommend the charcuterie board, the mac and cheese, bowl of home made chowder (which was delicious!) and the pork-chop. We shared it family style, and was a perfect amount of food for three of us, and was also fun to try a few things. Gratitude to our servers Rachel and Tracy(?), and props to our chef, Chef Fernando. Amazing restaurant! This will definitely be a stop in future visits to Cannon Beach.

It's a great little French bistro where you can get a nice Croque-Monsieur for lunch. They have a variety of teas and a small children's menu. Make sure you look up! The tin ceiling is very cute.

The French-American food here was amazing! Lots of vegan and gluten free options. I had the soup of the day, a savory vegan mushroom vegetable soup and a fabulous roasted beet salad. My husband had the sweet potato burger on a brioche roll, with an amazing sweet potato salad! Fresh, healthy, and delicious! A great place for lunch while in Cannon Beach.
